Blend n° 67 bottling date 17/07/18 bottle count: 776. This version features a range of strawberry maceration iterations aiming at balancing the intense fruitiness of strawberries with the subtleties of traditional lambik while minimizing the unpleasant phenolic characteristics of the small pits. For this strawberry lambik we macerated strawberries on a 2,000 litre foeder with young lambik. After a 1.5 months, we bottled 600 litres with a fruit intensity of 462 grams per litre of bottled Aardbei. The remaining strawberry lambik was then used as a basis for a second maceration with sour cherries. This will be the subject of a later Speling van het Lot. 100% 3 Fonteinen brewed lambik.
